Gettin' Crafty

Cassie and I decided to get crafty and create a magnet board for her room. Here she is painting the primer coat. Note the Smiley face on the parchment paper covering the metal (all Cassie).
We chose Brown for the background color, after much deliberation, we thought brown would stand out well against the paper colors we chose, and the lime green we intend to paint her bedroom. This is as far as Cassie got with this project because she left me to go babysit for the Scott family.
Here is the finished project, we even made matching magnets. I really enjoyed this project and can't wait to make two more for my other two little darlings. Megan wants hers pink and Aubrie says yellow!
Here's a close up of some of the magnets we made this was so easy! Cassie hot glued all the magnets on them she was very proud and only burned herself twice.

We actually saw a bear for the second time in Yellowstone, the first time we saw a bear cub eating bugs on a hillside up by the North Entrance.

New Shower

After taking a shower one day I noticed that the floor around the shower was flooded. A closer look showed that the liner had cracked right next to the drain. I caulked it the best I could but it kept leaking so we decided that it was time to get a new shower.

What it looked like before.

It took us a while to do and cost about $250 more then we wanted but we think it was worth it.
