Valentine mailboxes for school.

Megan made a purse out of a cereal box.  We covered the box in red wrapping paper and used some ribbon for embellishments.  She cut some silver gift tissue for fringe around the bottom and topped it with matching ribbon.  Red and white flower finishes the beautiful box.  This was too fun!

Aubrie Made an Octopus Valentine Box this year this was so much fun. It also has easy access since we left the top of the box open behind the round face of the octopus for easy valentine delivery and retrieval. To make this we covered 4 sides and the bottom of a Saltine Cracker box with pink wrapping paper. We then cut out 8- 1" strips of the plaid paper for arms and two circles for the head, one white card stock for support and the other the plaid we liked. Then we cut out a 1/2 circle from the plaid circle for the mouth and glued on the large googly eyes. Aubrie insisted on the read heart in the mouth as a tongue and we put little heart stickers on the bottom of the accordion folded arms for little suction cup feet.

  1. Super fun boxes. I feel like a stick in the mud. We didn't do anything special for v-day this year.
